A Little Bit About The Company       A company on an incredibly positive growth path, this is an Auckland-based fintech business. Providing property finance solutions to their clients and tracking upwards in their growth phase after seeing a significant increase in business over the last 12 months, they have no plans to slow down.  Head office based in Auckland’s city fringe. You’ll either have public transport access or not mind sourcing your own parking, but have plenty of trendy cafes and restaurants within a stones throw for lunchtime and after work activities.  Some More Information About The Role:  The primary purpose of this role is to lead the credit control function for residential mortgage products. You will assess credit worthiness of potential and existing clients, and be absolutely pivotal to people’s experience with the business. You will literally be in a key position that will either drive or halt the speed of growth here! Key duties that you must be experienced and confident in:
  • Assessing lending applications - significantly for residential property
  • Understand the platform to identify and rectify issues quickly and correctly
  • Develop and implement updated credit policies, procedures and practices
  • Reporting of loan book activity, monitoring credit performance
  • Ensuring you're up to date with market conditions
  • Sharing your knowledge in order to support and mentor others
  • Build internal and external relationships, cross-sell where appropriate
So Who Are You, And What Is Your Profile? You are someone who is ambitious about contributing to a growing Kiwi business, you have strong commercial acumen and epic communication skills. You're able to build rapport with a diverse range of clientele and are motivated to provide New Zealanders with top-quality financial advice. You will bring strong product knowledge around residential mortgage lending for existing dwellings as well as new developments, ideally from both a consumer and a business angle. You've at least 5 years experience in a senior role, and will be able to bring skills and knowledge to the table that others can learn from.
