About the Role
This is a great role for someone who is already in a similar financial accounting role who is looking to take the next step in their career journey. You will be joining a business in growth mode where you will support and be a strong 2IC to an impressive Finance Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the provision of timely and accurate reporting to the business.
- Cashflow management, ensuring monthly cashflow data is up to date and accurate and there are sufficient funds to meet the company’s obligations.
- Completion of month end balance sheet reconciliations and other reporting requirements.
- Preparation of corporate monthly reporting requirements.
- Collaboration on annual budgeting process.
- Completion of year end reporting requirements and external audit.
- Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the finance function by identifying key areas for process improvement.
- Preparation of IRD compliance work, including FBT, GST and PAYE etc.
To be considered for this role you will have 3 years' accounting experience with strong knowledge of financial accounting and systems. This is the ideal role for someone with a Big 4 audit background who already has 1-3 years commercial experience under their belt. Any experience from the services sector would also be looked upon favourably.
