About the Role
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the finance function within a well-established operation. Reporting directly to the Director, you will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and provide commercial insight to support business growth. It’s a hands-on position with strategic visibility and the scope to shape processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day financial management of the business including reporting, compliance, and financial controls
- Manage month-end processes, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory reporting requirements
- Manage the year-end process including preparation of statutory financial statements and coordination of the external audit
- Monitor cash flow, debtor collections, and inventory levels to support effective financial management
- Partner with operational teams to provide financial insights across manufacturing and project-based activities
You are a technically strong and self-sufficient finance professional who thrives in a hands-on environment. You are a qualified accountant (CA, CPA, or equivalent) and you bring experience within manufacturing, engineering, or project-based industries. You are confident in managing audits, statutory compliance, and month-end reporting. Strong analytical capability, advanced Excel skills, and a practical approach to problem-solving are essential. You communicate effectively with both operational and senior stakeholders, demonstrate sound commercial judgement, and take genuine ownership of the finance function.
