A bit about the role
Panasonic has an opportunity for a highly motivated, relationship driven Senior Account Manager to join their dynamic Retail Commercial team. Reporting to the Field Sales Manager you will be responsible for working with the sales team to manage, nurture and convert inbound leads from commercial customers.
This role is all about relationships! You'll essentially be responsible for managing a portfolio of key retail commercial accounts. Dealing with some of our key accounts you will be identifying opportunities in market and proactively engaging our existing customers, developing and managing relationships to better understand their needs and maximise growth opportunities, arrange client meetings to provide insights and showcase offerings to negotiate volume product purchase agreements, and other various operational duties that come within a fast paced sales environment.
So, who are we looking for?
To be successful you’ll have fantastic energy and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders, superior time-management skills, an outgoing and positive attitude, and a real desire to do a great job. The work environment is supportive and busy; you will be dealing with a range of external customers so your interpersonal and communication skills with people at all levels will have to be top-notch. The role is varied, no two days will be the same and as such it would suit someone who feels comfortable in an ever changing environment. There is also a travel component to the role so you should be comfortable on the road and have a full drivers licence.
Ideally you will have proven experience in sales account management such as an Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, Exec/Junior Key Account Manager or similar looking for the next big step in their career.
