A little bit about the Company
This is a very successful and well-recognized New Zealand leading brand situated in Whangarei. They are the one of the largest construction manufacturing businesses in Australasia and really invest in their staff.

A bit about the role
We are seeking a talented, motivated Sales Representative to promote sales to the retail and residential markets. This role will take charge of the sales life cycle and you will be responsible for connecting with our existing client base to identify new business, cross selling and upselling opportunities to expand market share and grow sales revenue. This life cycle will also include dealing with any customer queries, quoting, securing work, organising material and managing the installation process. This role is truly relationship focused, putting all our focus into building authentic relationships with our clients.

This position will be managing the Northland region and will come with a large portfolio of existing customers. 
So, who are we looking for?
This role is all about proactivity and initiative! We are looking for a confident communicator with a true passion for relationships. While you don’t necessarily have to be an expert on the construction industry you do need to be passionate and keen to develop your knowledge, we talk the construction industry day in and out and we love it!
The work environment is supportive and busy; you will be dealing with a range of external clients so your interpersonal and communication skills with people at all levels will have to be top-notch. 
The role is varied, no two days will be the same and as such it would suit someone who feels comfortable in an ever changing environment. The role will see you on the road meeting our clients face to face and as such you need to be comfortable on the road and have a full drivers license as company vehicle is provided (Hilux Ute Fuel Card).
To be successful you will have proven experience in Sales & Account Management roles ideally from a technical environment (preference given to those with construction experience, but not essential) and are looking for a hands-on role with lots of variety and where you can really make a difference!
