A little bit about the role
This role reports to the Payroll Manager and involves working within a payroll team. Your responsibilities will involve:
- Process and maintain monthly payment runs for 600 employees
- Filing IR
- Preparing and sending payroll using PSE
- Reconciling the general ledger, PAYE and/or PAYG.
- Other Ad Hoc tasks
You will have previous experience in payroll in New Zealand and/or Australia. Experience using PSE is advantageous but not essential. You will understand the intricacies of processing time sheets, allowances and be savvy around New Zealand payroll legislation and systems.
You will be a quick learner and a team player but you will also be able to work autonomously with little supervision. Confidence and proactiveness with a great attitude and work ethic are the standout traits this company is looking for.
