About the Company
Our client is a high performing financial services organisation operating across New Zealand and Australia. Following significant acquisitions and strategic growth, they are investing heavily in enterprise technology uplift. Operating in a highly regulated environment, they are focused on strengthening governance, cyber security and service excellence across a demanding, fast-paced business.
About the Role
This role sits on the extended leadership team, reporting to Sydney, and leads a trans-Tasman function. You will drive infrastructure, cyber security and service management across their technology environment. This is a critical role leading uplift and transitioning the operating model to more extensively leverage MSP relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise infrastructure, cyber security and service management capability across NZ and Australia
- Embed strong governance and controls aligned to regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Manage strategic vendor partnerships to deliver commercial and performance outcomes.
- Build and lead a high-performing team culture through significant organisational change.
- Extensive senior leadership experience across enterprise infrastructure and cyber security.
- Strong cyber security background, with experience improving security posture and governance frameworks.
- Proven experience operating within highly regulated environments, ideally financial services or investment banking.
- Deep understanding of service management principles and ITIL-aligned operational best practice.
- Demonstrated vendor management expertise delivering strategic and commercial outcomes.
- Strong executive stakeholder engagement skills with experience reporting at leadership level.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to balance risk, performance and cost.
- You will need to to be dynamic, strategic and able to operate in an ever changing environment with a fluidity, pace and resilience.
