About the Role
This is a broad, hands-on Financial Accountant position with ownership across Australia and New Zealand. Blending core financial reporting with systems and process improvement, the role plays a key part in enhancing efficiency and supporting business performance in a complex, multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end processes including accruals, fixed assets, loan interest, and profit share calculations
• Prepare accurate monthly financial statements with meaningful analysis and commentary
• Manage cash flow forecasting and support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with tax obligations and assist with year-end and audit requirements
• Drive process improvement initiatives and support systems optimisation across multiple platforms
• Partner with stakeholders to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights
• Support wider finance operations, including payroll and transactional activities when required

So who are you and what is your profile?
You bring around five years’ accounting experience and thrive in a hands-on, adaptable role within a dynamic environment. You are confident in managing end-to-end finance responsibilities and are comfortable working across both transactional and strategic tasks. With strong Excel skills and experience working with financial data, you can simplify complex information for non-finance stakeholders. You are proactive, flexible, and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced setting, ideally within a multi-entity or SME-style business.
