Our client is a privately owned business with their head office in Morningside on the fringes of the Auckland CBD. Their convenient location offers free off-street parking where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the CBD. This creative business have been in operation for over 30 years and have grown significantly in that time.

Some More Information About The Role
  
This is a really great development opportunity for someone looking to step into a Finance Business Partner role for the first time. Reporting to an exceptional Head of Finance, you will be mentored by the best, and given all the guidance to really build your commercial understanding.This role will be responsible for partnering with multiple business units, to provide commercial support and you will also get to develop your staff management experience by managing a team of 2.

Some of the main responsibilities of the role will include the following:

• Full month end responsibility, putting together and delivering on-time reporting
• Ownership of weekly financial performance reporting
• Overseeing all tax obligations
• Managing a team of 2
• Business partnering and providing financial guidance to BU leaders throughout the organisation

So Who Are You & What Is Your Profile?

We are looking for someone who already has a good understanding of general accounting, you don't have to be fully CA qualified (although it will help!), just as long as you have already started your studies. This is a collaborative and commercial role so you will need to have exceptional people skills, you will be an excellent communicator and you will have a passion for sitting down and collaborating with stakeholders. If you are already working in an accounting role in a commercial environment and you want to develop your business partnering skills then this could be the ideal role for you.
