About the role

Work closely with the business units to identify and enable business
strategy that can be delivered via digital channels in a way that leverages our technology and capabilities. You will work in assisting and supporting the digital teams in relation to architecture and applications to help it evolve in a way that enables digital interactions.

  • Actively contribute to the development and strategy of digital vision and direction
  • Work with integration architecture, developers and business UX designers to align corporate systems and services with the business requirements for digital experience.
  • Assist the business in prioritising and sizing digital initiatives based on existing capabilities and use this to inform enterprise architecture and roadmaps
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the digital roadmap reflecting technology trends and alignment with business initiatives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in determining and evolving digital security within the organisation and ensuring that this is aligned and integrated with the Security and Risk function.
  • Deliver options analysis and solution architectures across our portfolio
  • Document using multiple architectural models or views that show how the current and future needs of the organisation will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner
  • Be a subject matter expert for digital technologies and solution delivery, architectural frameworks, methods, digital design patterns, and tools

  • 5-10 years’ experience as an Architect specialising in delivering digital solutions.
  • Strong technical depth and analytical understanding of the different middleware and integration approaches to enable agility in delivering the digital experience.
  • Experience in delivering highly performant, secure and scalable applications via digital channels including an understanding of DevOps implications.
  • A clear understanding of how to utilise and integrate the functionality of core ICT systems such as ERP in the most cost effective way to deliver business benefit through digital channels.
  • Strong business acumen and leadership skills, including identifying and recommending cost effective solutions
  • Strong technical depth and expertise in digital software delivery across multiple digital channels.
