Data Engineer



About the Role
We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join a growing team working on a modern Microsoft data platform. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable data solutions while also working closer to business systems like Dataverse.

You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering data pipelines, transforming data using PySpark, and integrating with operational platforms to support both business processes and analytics.

This is a great opportunity for a strong data engineer who’s open to expanding into the Power Platform / Dataverse space, experience there is a bonus, not a requirement.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building and optimising data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric
• Developing Python / PySpark notebooks for data transformation
• Working with modern data architectures (Bronze / Silver / Gold layers)
• Integrating data with Dataverse via APIs (REST / OData)
• Supporting end-to-end data flows across multiple systems
• Troubleshooting issues across pipelines, data layers, and source systems
• Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver practical, high-quality data solutions

What You’ll Bring

• Strong experience as a Data Engineer
• Solid skills in Python and/or PySpark
• Experience with data pipelines and modern data platforms (Fabric, Synapse, ADF, etc.)
• Understanding of data modelling and transformation
• Experience working with APIs or data integration

Nice to have (but not essential):

• Exposure to Dataverse or Dynamics 365
• Experience with OData APIs
• Familiarity with rules engines or workflow tools
