Contract AWS Engineer

• Flex work environment - 3 days wfh | 2 days in the office
• Contract length of 6 months - Highly likely to extend
• Competitive market rates, between $120.00 - 130.00 per hour + GST (Depending on experience)

This Senior AWS engineer will be a key role in the team. You should be a self-starter and be confident managing your own workload with an excellent ability to prioritise. You will have demonstrate experience or knowledge across the following areas: 

• AWS Cloud infrastructure experience supporting Enterprise environments.
• Maintaining and expanding IAC (Terraform/Terragrunt) deployments and DevOps code pipelines, covering Lambda, ECS(Containers), EC2, SSM patching, VPC+Networking.
• 5+ years experience in implementing, supporting and administering enterprise business systems, applications or infrastructure
• Strong technical leadership experience and ability to effectively mentor, engage and lead technical teams 
• Ability to translate Information Technology terminology into common language and concepts that may be understood by the business community at large
• Exposure to Linux environments
• Infrastructure Automation and Software Development Life Cycle processes and methodologies.

You will need to be permanently based within New Zealand to carry out this role.
