About the Role
This is a hands-on, transactional-level position focused on payroll and accounts receivable. You'll take ownership of regular payroll processing while supporting the team with accurate accounts receivables management. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves getting into the detail and working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll for permanent staff and contractors (weekly/monthly via Astute)
- Ensure accuracy of timesheet data and resolve discrepancies with internal teams and contractors
- Manage accounts receivable functions including invoicing, reconciliations, and debtor follow-up
- Assist with payroll-related reporting and ensure compliance with all legislative requirements
- Identify and contribute to process improvement opportunities across payroll and receivables
You’ve worked in transactional finance roles before, ideally in a shared services or fast-paced environment, and have experience processing payroll in systems like Astute, iPayroll, or Xero. You're confident with numbers, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills to manage queries across the business. You're comfortable owning processes end-to-end, love improving how things are done, and bring a calm, can-do attitude to your work.
