Some More Information About The Role
They're looking for an ambitious manager who's looking to build client relationships with a view to partnership in the future.
There isn't a big hierarchy in this team. As a Manager in the team, you'll be working closely alongside the Partner on a diverse range of clients, tapping into their years of knowledge & experience while making sure the work you do for clients is top-notch.
You will be managing a small team so previous staff management experience, a strong technical mind and patience are essential. You'll be a counsellor and mentor, sharpening their technical skills as well as guiding them in their career.
So Who Are You, And What Is Your Profile?
Ideally, you will have prior staff management experience working within a professional accounting firm, preferably from a medium sized environment or larger.
At the Manager level, they expect you to have an excellent understanding of the current tax legislation and financial reporting requirements with the capability to handle slightly curlier client files.
Solid technical skills with past experience with cashflow, budgeting, forecasting, tax structuring etc. You would ideally be CA qualified.
You'll have excellent communication skills and understand how important client relationships are with a view to building your own client base.
